The Friends of Harford Manor School Launch 'Project Playground' Fundraiser
The Friends of Harford Manor School group have launched 'Project Playground' and are asking local businesses to help raise money towards the £70,000 needed for specialist outdoor equipment.
The goal of 'Project Playground' is to refurbish the very dated outdoor equipment currently in use on the primary playground. The £70,000 target, which is beyond the realms of the school budget, will help purchase specialist and/or sensory equipment which is vital to support pupils' development and wellbeing.
Unfortunately many of the 'Friends' usual fundraising activities have been curtailed due to the ongoing pandemic but, but not to be deterred they are holding a summer raffle which will start the fundraising ball rolling! They also hope to announce more events in the near future.
If any local businesses wish to help with the fundraising by offering a raffle prize or any other assistance they would be thrilled! Any donations are gratefully received and anyone who donates will be thanked and mentioned on their social media channels.
If you would like to donate, or help out in any way with ‘Project Playground’ please contact Suzie Wilder at firstname.lastname@example.org or go to their Facebook Page “Friends of Harford Manor”.
