Sports Day 2022
On Monday 4th July we held our annual Sports Day events and it was lovely to be able to invite parents along to cheer on their children again, making the day even more special!
At school our Primary Department Sports Day had a watery theme to fit in with our topic work! However, it wasn't just the students getting wet, as Cheryl was in the 'wet sponge' firing line for our parents and carers vs staff race to conclude a fun filled event!
As is tradition, the UEA Sports Park was the venue for our Secondary Sports Day which started with the inter-department 400m race and concluded with a fiercely competed relay event, where every child ran a leg for their class team! In addition to our 'blue ribbon' events, everyone had the chance to compete in a range of traditional athletic disciplines, including the long jump, javelin, hurdles, sprints and many more with everyone putting in a great effort! In the afternoon we then moved inside to try a range of other sports including football, basketball and tennis.
Take a look at our galleries below to see a few shots of the students in action!
