Friday 4 November 2022 A Brilliant Bag Books Visit! On the 3rd of November we were visited by Marion from the company 'Bag Books' who delivered a selection of sensory stories to groups of students from around the school.
Thursday 6 October 2022 Our Water Themed Exhibition Makes a Splash! On the 4th and 5th of October we held an art exhibition in the school hall as part of the Norfolk Open Studios trail.
Friday 23 September 2022 Our Inaugural Enterprise Day! We held our inaugural Enterprise event on Thursday 22 nd September and we were very lucky to welcome representatives from Marsh Insurance, Springboard, Notcutts and the Department forWork and Pensions in to carry out activities linked to careers and the world of work.The pupils took part in a range of activities; making wraps, serving customers and waitingtables, making structures from marshmallows and dry spaghetti, taking part in learningabout interview skills and techniques, planting daffodil bulbs and painting their pots andplaying careers bingo. Everyone involved had great fun as well as learning some work related skills and the event was a huge success!
Monday 12 September 2022 Welcome to Harford Manor Nicola! A warm welcome to our new Red Class teacher, Nicola Denney or 'Nic', who officially joined our team last week at the start of the academic year!
Monday 12 September 2022 Dominic's Day Raises £8177.17! On Friday 12th August, the 10th annual 'Dominic's Day' golf event was held in memory of a much missed pupil from Harford Manor School who sadly passed from a rare genetic condition SanFilippo Syndrome.
Monday 18 July 2022 Past Parents Provide Priceless Preview! On the 14th July we hosted a past parents information event. Parents of pupils who have recently left Harford Manor School were invited back to speak to a group of current parents and carers about this change, what to expect, the positives and the pitfalls of transitioning to adult services.
Tuesday 5 July 2022 Sports Day 2022 On Monday 4th July we held our annual Sports Day events and it was lovely to be able to invite parents along to cheer on their children again, making the day even more special!
Tuesday 14 June 2022 Friendly Flowers! The 'Friends of Harford Manor School Association' recently made a cash contribution of £200 towards the purchase of plants and herbs to help brighten up and improve the outside areas throughout the school.
Friday 27 May 2022 Our Platinum Jubilee Celebrations! On Friday 27th May the whole school came together to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in a sea of red, white and blue!
