Midday Supervisory Assistants
We have vacancies for Midday Supervisory Assistants to start as soon as possible.
The post is for Monday to Friday, 11:45 to 13:45, 5 days per week, Term time only.
The closing date is: 1/11/21 at 09.00, and interviews are expected to be held on Monday 8th and Thursday 11 November 2021.
The actual annual salary is £4006.22, plus a temporary special needs allowance of £75.00 pa (which is reviewed in March each year)

Purpose and scope:
Under the direction of teaching staff, to attend to the personal, social and behavioural needs of pupils and students in order to support their independence and development. Support individuals and groups in developing expectations of acceptable personal and social behaviour. Attend to the personal and social needs of pupils and any other special requirements depending upon the nature of a pupil's special needs. Harford Manor School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and undertake a DBS check. Teaching Assistant Vacancies
We are seeking:
A permanent Teaching Assistant, and a Temporary Teaching Assistant (until 31.08.22)
Both positions are 5 days/week; 32.5 hours per week, term time plus one week.
Scale D5-D6: £14,463.83 - £14,752.92 per annum (pay award pending), plus a temporary special needs allowance of £375pa (which will be reviewed yearly)
We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work at this Outstanding and Friendly school, to start as soon as possible. Our staff successfully meet the needs of our pupils, aged 3-19 years, some of whom have very complex needs and challenging behaviour, many with Autism. We would welcome applications from individuals who -
- are highly motivated
- have a flexible approach to work
- have excellent teamwork skills
- have a keen interest in their own professional development
- have skillful and sensitive approaches to behaviour management.
It is essential to have the ability to learn quickly and enjoy a challenge, whilst maintaining a sense of humour. Experience of or willingness to work with children with Autism would be an advantage, as would a qualification in child care or social care.
