Extended Learning Activities at Harford Manor School

The Quality in Study Support - QiSS, recognition scheme was set up to help all young people to realise their full potential both within and outside the classroom. To achieve this goal the aim is to expand and improve the learning opportunities to young people and the range and quality of extended learning as an integral strategy to raise standards. A Code Of Practice is set up to ensure that schools and others setting up extended learning initiatives do so in a purposeful and well planned manner. HMS Extended Learning programme is now committed to follow this Code Of Practice. There are three possible awards "Emerging, Established, and Advanced".
